Mending Fairy and A Book Worm
May 30, 2011
Okay once in a while I just have to do a braggy mommy post (even though it adds nothing to your life ;-)
Poulsbo had it's Viking Fest parade a week ago and the girls were in it with the library. Auberne` was the book mending fairy because she mends so many of their books.
Chloe was part of the book worm. Aren't they adorable???
I have to say the library ladies did a fantastic job on making the book worm.
Chloe said it was fun but a bit hard to coordinate everyone walking together.
Of course my girls had to bling and alter their library tees. Thank you for letting me share. It is memories like these that hold a family together xoxo
ps. Can you see my veggie garden in the back. I am going to fill the wheel barrel with basil, when it gets warmer!!
Dear Clarice,
Auberne` and Chloe are so beautiful and sweet! I love their outfits! They are very creative too… just like their mom! What a blessing your girls are!!! Love, Paula

I always love seeing what your girls are up to! They look so cute and it sounds like it was a fun event. I'm impressed that the library participated. I don't believe I've ever seen our town library participate in any town event (other than to have a book sale).

Always take a little time to brag on those sweet girls. They look like they had fun dressing up and being so cute.

How fabulous! Truly a fun thing to participate in. It's fine to brag, Clarice. Your girls are amazing. Enjoy each and every moment!!! The girls look adorable and so colorful in their parade attire. :) I love that you shared this! xoxo Theresa

Clarice,
You deserve to brag every now and then.
You are blessed indeed with talented sweet children.

I agree with above, braggy moments are great both to share and read about! I'll have to show my girls the blinged library t shirts! My 13 year old is volunteering at our local library this summer, and I think she will be inspired to see the altered t-shirts. A wheelbarrow planted with basil is a great idea, but I had to chuckle at "when it's warm enough" as we are in the 90's here this week and likely until the end of September.

What a neat idea! Your girls are so creative. They should go into business creating those blinged T-shirts!

What a great idea to plant basil in the wheelbarrow...perhaps the bugs won't find it there! Mine gets eaten up every year before I can harvest it :(

I have to agree with Molly! Also, your lovely girls are proof positive that there are wonderful young people in the world and not the thugs and smart alecks the world wants us to believe are there!

I disagree, your "braggy moments" enrich all our lives. They remind us to embrace the ordinary everyday moments of beauty. You are an example to us all.
Thank you:)
