A Year Of Storybook Woods 2009

I can not believe it is the end of 2009, this year went by fast. I am grateful for the blog, because it is a wonderful way to see what was happening in the past year. I was freaking out about 2009 because Auberne`turned 18 and I was just not ready. But it really has been a lovely year, both my girls have really grown this year. I see them both becoming amazingly creative and giving women. We are becoming more and more friends, enjoying each other company, kindred spirits. I am not ready to look forward yet, I want to savor this past year for just a bit more. Here is a list of my favorite posts each month. Happy New Year, I would love to hear what you loved about this last year xoxox

PS. I am so embarrassed, I was not asking what of my blog you liked, I mean what about your life this past year did you love !!!

What I've liked about the past year is meeting new blog friends. I enjoy my pets, my gardens, my crafts and definitely my home. But I also thoroughly enjoy starting each day with my cup of coffee and my blog buddies!

Hi Clarice,

I too, have enjoyed watching your girls grow into the wonderful young women that they are, and I'm always grateful that you have created this kind, thoughtful and inspiring place to visit.

When I look back over what has been a very challenging year for me, I think that the thing that I have loved most about it, has been the closeness that my husband and I have experienced, and the way that he has supported me throughout, and like you, I have enjoyed watching my son grow into his adult life in a thoughtful and caring way.

Thank you for your sweet support, and for your recent kind words. I'm not perfect. I'm always trying to become a more graceful person, in a great many ways.

Happy New Year, dear friend.

Linda

I couldn't pick one either, except I loved the picture of Chloe in the hat. Love, Mom

I look forward to another lovely year with your blog!

What a lovely retrospective of your year. I think the most important part was your relationship with your girls. Seeing them grow to happy and productive individuals in their own right is a joyous thing.

My favorite part of the year, well, I'm not completely sure but I think one vital thing is learning more about myself and where my limits are. I'm starting to listen to myself and what I need in terms of health, be it physical, mental, or emotional. This understanding (I should say a clearer understanding) is guiding me to pursue a slower mindful attention to life for the next year.

The Pleasures of Homemaking

Hi Clarice!

It is fun to have a look back. Although I'm ready to look forward. 2009 wasn't what I thought it would be so I'm excited about starting a new year.

I hope you all have wonderful year ahead!
