A Well Working Pantry

Mini Pantry

Mini pantry

I have been in a crafty mood but are trying not to spend money. So I decided to look around my house and see if I could find inspiration. I have this miniature shelf my mother gave me years ago. After a while, I just put it away, you know how stuff gets old. Well after about 5 year in the basement it was a dirty mess. I decided to spruce it up. Gave it a new coat of white paint, replace the ribbons, add some more. Tore off what I did not like and added more doo-dads. I am happy with my mini pantry.

So what do you have sitting around your house that you can refresh, gussy-up, give new life ??? If you do I would love to hear about it xoxox

That came out so sweet and cute! I'm like you, I look around my house. Usually I wind up painting something!

Sadly that would be my whole house ;0)

Lovely dresser though!

How precious!

How sweet and so adorable!! Isn't it fun to give an old piece new life. LOVE the little mushrooms! This is a very happy vignette.

As for me, I have a lot of things that need revamping - like walls that need new paint.

It very cute! I love the little salt and pepper shakers. We have been trying to do the same thing. Reuse instead of going out and buying new. Thinking of creative ways to redo with no cost gets those creative juices a flowing.

so nice of you to visit... How fun is this little pantry! I am working on gussy-ing up my entire house and studio! Lots of work but lots of fun!

Aww... what fun!
I was actually expecting a smaller version of the last pantry post....just not so 'smaller'.
Very cute.I love it!

I was talking about you this afternoon Clarice and telling my husband all about your fantastic working pantry (I was trying to roll pastry on the edge of the kitchen table). I love the mini dresser and red is so 'now'. You have a great deal of stuff desplayed on it its almost as good as your pantry, but not quite. I will have to resurect something I have put away..it would make a interesting post, thanks for the idea.

How delightfully cheery. I love the little mushroom faces border.

oh my, that is the cutest thing....

Gumbo Lily

That's just as sweet as can be! Where do all the little pots and pans, rolling pins and canisters come from? Did you make those too? I like the mushroom shelf paper edge of the middle shelf.

Wow!! I love the super cute mini pantry!!

Just the cutest! Love it! Very inspiring and just what I needed on this gray day in January. :(

Thanks for sharing --- you're a bright spot in my day.

Oh, how I wish I has a picture to show you the bunny I gave my friend and business partner for Christmas. We had been invited to a party where you needed to bring a white elephant. I picked up this fabic bunny at the thrift store. When the weather was too bad to go, I put it in with Cheryl's gift for a good laugh. I can't even explain how ugly this poor thing was, but suffice it to say, the only thing worth salvaging was an adorable tiny quilt sewed to his hand.
Imagine my surprise when I went to the shop yesterday and found him on the counter all redone and priced out! He's made of a fuzzy warm and natural type of material. She stitched a new face and she now sports a dress made of an old pillowcase! Adorable!

This is a darling idea to use your miniatures. I love it.

I love your thinking and the adorable little mini-pantry. I'm on self-imposed "craft supply restriction", too. One thing I'm making within the next week is a new lanyard using an ugly one leftover from a trip to Las Vegas. The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show begins in about 2 weeks and a pretty new lanyard made from things already in my stash will be lovely to hold my wholesale show pass.

Oh how precious!!!!

But to do this, you have to have "the eye of inspiration." Which you have, in spades.

And so, I enjoy visiting in the Storybook Woods, and other such places. To see/enjoy the wonderful things, which your "eyes of inspiration" allow you ladies to do. :-)
