Edge to Edge
December 10, 2008
I am very sad to post that my favorite store in Port Townsend, Edge to Edge is closing at the end of the month. Joan has such an unbelievable selection on vintage trim, buttons, felted wool, wall paper and soooooooooo much more. It is any crafter, altered arts person dream store. Hopefully Joan will open an Esty store. But if you get a chance to stop by before the end of the month, please do. Edge to Edge is on Water street and open everyday but Wednesday. Please tell her Clarice sent you. It really does break my heart this store is closing. There is nothing else like it around her and I just love Joan xoxoxo
I'm sad for you. I have a very special small-town fabric store that I love going to. I'd be heartbroken if she closed, so I know how you must feel.
Etsy is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

Dear Clarice,
It is so sad your friend has to close her store. I hope she will be able to open an Etsy shop.

Dear Clarice,
I am so sorry. I know what you are going through! Maybe she will open up an etsy shop! Then we can all shop there!
Blessings,
Selia

Clarice,
I know you will miss "Edge to Edge."
It looks like my kind of boutique.
Have a wonderful day.

Oh no Clarice. It's heartbreaking to lose our unique little stores. Seems it's happening more and more.
What a super idea; and I hope your friend from Edge t Edge DOES open on Etsy, I adore it.

So sad when we lose such a beloved spot. We've lost just about all of our paper stores here in Nashville. Ugh.

I'm so sorry! I hate to see the small specialty stores close, too. What treasures they hold!

I hope she opens an etsy store or does ebay. It's so sad when small hometown stores close. We had one down the street that was a mix of fashion and homefurnishing - such a fun place and great owner - she just couldn't make it in this economic climate anymore. So she had to close as well - so sad!

Oh how sad! Well I hope she puts her things online! It is always a heart breaker when a talented artist has to close their doors.
