Hi -

I'm Paul from the North East of England.

Just seen your silhouette for the man and lady playing chess.

I would like to create this as a wooden scrollsaw picture. Can I have your permission to use your image for this purpose, please?

This is my hobby, not a commercial business, thought I might sell things I make at a craft fair in the future ( never done so yet in 3 years )

Regards - Paul

Thank you for posting this! I have been looking around a while for info on creating silhouettes...... There is so much detail, forever captured in the moment....

I love silhouette projects--thank you so much for sharing the tutorial link.

Your post reminded me of two books I have in my craft book arsenal so I've dug them out to share with you in case you're interested in other resources: (1) Scherenschnitte by Susanne Schlapfer-Geiser which provides designs and techniques for traditional papercutting; and (2) Cross Stitch Silhouettes by Adele Welsby which has more than 350 designs from which to pick.

I like silhouettes very much, and wish I had one, from when my son was small.
Thank you for the link!
