Pirates and flowers
My no-bake cookies

March 1

IT is the first mild day of March:
Each minute sweeter than before
The redbreast sings from the tall larch
That stands beside our door.

There is a blessing in the air,
Which seems a sense of joy to yield
To the bare trees, and mountains bare,
And grass in the green field

What a great March poem!

I love all the baking you are doing. You have read my mind. We are hosting a St. Patrick's Day dinner and I wanted to try soda bread this year.

I also like the idea of having a full freezer. I, too, LOVE to buy in bulk. Now I need to cook in bulk. LOL!

Cheers! LA

Enjoyed visiting your blog...just so very sweet. I love all the things you do and your name too!

That beautiful picture is filling me with hope that spring is not too far off. First we have a lot of snow to get rid of! Debbie

Happy March to you, Clarice!! I love the picture and the poem!!

Happy March! I am so glad that spring is approaching! I really LOVE your blog! Very inspiring. I hope you don't mind that I added you to my favorites list?

Happy March to you too :)

I was perusing allposters.com and saw a picture of Wordsworth's home.
