Tangram Cards
September 20, 2006
We had fun making tangrams and making cards. I printed up different pattern papers and 4"x 4" tangram of each pattern. We used this grid to make the tangrams. Then made a second set 2"x 2" for the cards.
Here is some history and patterns. Look at these beautiful carved ivory tamgrams. What a fun way to play with math.
What a fabulous idea!
I am SO going to do this!
(my kids are 25, 23 and 22)

These are neat. We have a tangram game my kids love to play. I'm the only one who stinks at it.

This is a great idea that is both educational and crafty! I teach a craft class for our co-op and I am going to try to use this idea for the girls. I will have to incorporate sewing but I don't that will be hard!

This is a great idea! I'll have to put this in my Kid's Camp Projects idea folder. (seven days and counting!)
