Summer Corner #4
4th July Menu

Corner Of My House

I was inspired by Mrs. Stagg's Rose June corner to make my own. Since the 4th July is just around the corner I decided to make a patriotic corner.

A couple of years ago made these little cards. I printed up vintage post card. Glued them on cardstock, glittered them then added ribbon hangers. In the past I have hung them on a garland over my sink. But had fun setting them out in my entry room. Here a two images for you to use. Enjoy !!!

Love the cards. I just bought one like that for $12 bucks! Yours are nicer!!

You've inspired me Clarice! I've just printed out several vintage patriotic postcards for my own banners. THANKS, as always.

Hey Clarice! You make it hard to decide which to do - visit you for a 4th of July feast or head to the ocean for a rest that Mike really needs away from it all. Thanks for sharing with us your great plans. You are awesome, my friend! Hugs, Mary

How patriotic...your little corner is delightful. Maybe I could do something like this on Australia Day?

Wow Clarice, your patriotic corner looks great ~ what a wonderful job! The banner and the tiny flag pillow are my favorites. Thank you for the vintage post card images too.

That is a great spot for doing something like that. A wonderful way to enter the house. Mom

Clarice, What a beautiful tribute to our 4th of July holiday!! Hope yours is blessed and fun-filled!

Clarice, what a wonderful vignette! I like it alot!
You've inspired me...I love the little flag pillow. I have a small collection of little chairs and benches and would like to use this idea for one of them. I was thinking I could either use the fabric you can run through the computer or an iron on transfer, copy one of my old flag images and then stitch it up.
I'm thinking it would be a great idea for each holiday. I'll have to look through my clipart collection.
Thank you so much for this idea!
Thanks for the postcards too!

Clarice, I love you patriotic corner...very festive! :)

Where do you find the vintage postcards?

Have a great's a favorite holiday for our family.
