I got this table free for Auberne` (I collect free furniture for my girls, I am such a loo-loo) then I decided to use it. I love it soo much I think I need to keep my eye out for a white, round pedestal table. I usually have a vintage tablecloth but I did not want to cover up this table. So I took a cloth and folded it in thirds and used it like a table runner. Just fill a pedestal bowl with some sea shells and you have a charming summer table. By the way please try not to notice it needs a new paint job, I need Manuela ;-) xoxoxo

So pretty, fresh and inviting. And for FREE? Wow! You are so thoughtful and loving to your daughters. Makes me smile!

lovely table, so fresh and summery! I found a beautiful hand-embroidered floral tablecloth at a thrift store the other day, $4.00! I have it washed and ready to iron, can't wait to see it on my dining room table!

That is a lovely table, Clarice! What a good find!
I drive my family nuts with all the furniture I drag home, but I can't help it! LOL
Good luck finding a pedestal table

I have three siblings so my mother has everything in threes...three clocks, three beds, etc....I'm 43 and she still has them for us! LOL! So your not alone. Auberne` is so fortunate as this table is quite lovely. I'm stealing the tablecloth to runner idea.

Dear Clarice,
Your table is gorgeous! I love that you collect free furniture for your girls. When they start their own homes it will be such a blessing to send them off with so many pretty things that you have saved for them! You are not a loo-loo, but a good momma!
I love how you folded the vintage tablecloth to show just enough pattern, and let the pretty white table show itself. The glass pedestal with shells is the perfect summer touch!
Thank you for the inspiration!
Love, Paula

LOL! You don't know how I wish I lived close to you!
Your table looks fresh and summery! I like how you've folded the tablecloth to show the pretty pattern. I'm going to try that with one of mine (hope I don't have to iron it)!
