Elf Day!

 

Hello!!!!! Today is Elf Day. Or the day the Fellowship left Rivendell for Mordor. It say's in the book: "They crossed the bridge and wound slowly up the long steep paths that led out of the cloven vale of Rivendell; and they came at length to the high moor where the wind hissed through the heather. Then with one glance at the Last Homely House twinkling below them they strode away far into the night.  At the Ford of Bruinen they left the Road and turning southwards went on by narrow paths among the folded lands..... Gandalf walked in front, and with him went Aragorn, who know this land even in the dark. The others were in file behind, and Legolas whose eyes were keen was the rearguard. The first part of there journey was hard and dreary, and Frodo remembered little of it, save the wind." LOTR's free movie

 

HI EVERYONE!!!! How are you? Here is something fun to look forward to. It is a independent non-profit Lord of the Ring movie called The Hunt for Gollum. It will be free to download from the website. It looks soooooooo awesome!!!!!! Here are a few pictures from the movie:

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here is a description of the movie:

 

This short film is a prequel to The Lord Of The Rings, set in Middle Earth which depicts events leading up to the Fellowship of the Ring. The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the "greatest huntsman and traveller in Middle Earth" as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer.

The script is based on the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, and references in The Fellowship of the Ring.

 

It will be coming out winter 2008. Great Christmas gift. lol! Here is the website. The Hunt fot Gollum. Oh and happy early fall! ^-^

Fireworks Galore!

HEY! Happy 4th of July! I hope you all had a good 4th, I know I did. I stayed up till midnight watching fireworks. Oh boy I don't do that often. lol Well again, happy independence day!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day!

 

HI! Well, it's Fathers Day again. I love my dad. It's the truth. Pure and simple. Here are some of the reasons I love my dad:

 

He make my laugh.

 

He likes a lot of the same movies I do, like Star Wars and LOTR.

 

He is CRAZY! (In a good way;)

 

He supports me in the things I do.

 

He taught me how to fish.

 

He will play games with me and Char even if there silly.

 

He is a mechanic and can fix a car or airplane like nobody's business.

 

He loves me the way I am.

 

I can't thank him enough for what he's done for me. So, thank you dad! ^-^ Have a happy Fathers Day everyone!

Cool Movie

 

Last week I saw The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!! Considering they had to change the book into a movie, has to take stuff out and add things, it was really good. I thought they interpreted the book very well. My biggest complaint is I think they cast Caspian to old. I always thought he was 14 or so, but in the movie he looks like he's about 20. I have nothing against Ben Barnes, I just think Caspian could have been younger. All the other actors did a FABULOUS job! I really like William Moseley, he's a amazing actor! And Georgie is soooooooo cute!!!! ^-^ I can't wait till it comes out on DVD!

One Year

 

Today it has been one year since I started my blog. WOW! What a year! First I have found so many wonderful blog's, which I love to visit every day. Second I have made soooooooo many AWESOME friends. I have been so blessed by them and their friendship has gone to my heart. Thank you all for bringing a little bit of sun into my life!
